Each year, a select group of students who achieve Distinction in their RAD ballet exams are invited to step into something truly special: the world of dance festivals.

Performing a solo or duet choreographed just for them—and often wearing a beautifully handcrafted tutu—our dancers take to the stage to express their love of ballet with confidence and poise. They perform alongside talented peers from other schools, receive thoughtful written feedback from adjudicators, and often return with medals, trophies, and awards that reflect their dedication and artistry.

But beyond the accolades, festivals offer something even more meaningful: the thrill of performance, the pride of preparation, and the joy of shared memories. Students form real friendships, grow in self-assurance, and experience the kind of magic that stays with them long after the stage lights dim.
